We plan to start on August 13, 2025. 8:30-3:30
Your child may be 3 as long as they turn 4 BEFORE September 1st
I have written the curriculum myself using years of experience, the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills, and a twist of Reggio Emilia.
With the curriculum being TEKS based, this ensures coverage of all required Texas standards in subjects like math, ELA, science, and social studies.
ALONG WITH the inspiration from the Reggio Emilia approach, this allows for the subjects to be woven into thematic units, guided by real-world exploration, children's interest, and their natural environment.
We like to keep our class sizes small to gain a better understanding of your child. There will only be 11 children in a classroom.
At Roots of Curiosity, we provide a nurturing and creative environment where children can explore, learn, and grow outside of a normal classroom. There will be lots of time spent in nature, time exploring through dramatic play, and time for academics/social emotional learning.
We will not have state mandated assessments but I will assess your child at the beginning, middle, and end of the year to make sure they are on track for the next year and to see their growth.
